Controlling font style and size (WITHOUT having to buy an upgrade).

    Why is it that after I laboriously copy text into another program in order to adjust the font type and size to what I want, then copy it back into my post — YOU THEN PROCEED TO CHANGE FONT STYLE, SIZE AND LINE SPACING?

    DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA AT ALL HOW INFURIATING THIS IS?

    CAN YOU TELL ME HOW TO GET YOU TO STOP DOING THIS?

    PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME TO BUY AN UPGRADE TO DO SOMETHING BASIC AS ADJUST FONT SIZE. YOU BRAG ABOUT BEING “FREE” BUT ITS BEGINNING TO LOOK LIKE THE ONLY WAY TO GET YOU TO DO WHAT I WANT IS TO SPEND MONEY ON UPGRADES.

    AND, BY THE WAY, I DID BUY AN UPGADE A COUPLE WEEKS AGO AND HAD TO IMMEDIATELY ASK FOR A REFUND AS EVEN WITH THE UPGRADE I STILL COULDN’T ADJUST THE FONT SIZES TO MY LIKING.

    IF BUYING UPGRADES IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET WHAT I WANT PLEASE CHANGE YOUR BRAGGING TO BE ABOUT BUYING UPGRADES AND NOT ABOUT BEING “FREE.”

    Hi there!

    The font types and line spacings are determined by the specific theme’s CSS configuration, so these things vary from theme to theme. To change these defaults, you do need the Custom Design upgrade.

    I checked your account and I see you still have the Custom Design upgrade active. We do have a 30-day refund policy on this upgrade, so if you still want a refund, you do have a few days left to request a refund as you purchased this on April 23, 2013. You can go to Store -> My Upgrades and request a full refund for this upgrade in the next few days.

    To use the Visual editor to make font style changes without using the Custom Design upgrade, you can follow the tips and instructions given in this support document:

    You can also use Microsoft Word to compose your posts (without inserting images) and can cleanly import the text using the Word importer. Here’s a handy reference that will walk you through how to use this feature:

    Please note that specific font choices made in Word will not be transferred over to your page/post.
