Controlling Number of Items on Front page (fontfolio page)

I’m experimenting with the fontfolio theme. While I generally like the theme, I dont see a way to control how many photo blocks appear on the first page. The only option I see that seems relevant is

Settings -> Reading -> Blog Pages Show At Most ___ posts (which doesnt work).

Is there an easy way to control how many photo blocks appear on the first page?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is very odd. If I go to the customize preview window, the correct number if items posts on the front page based on the

Settings -> Reading -> Blog Pages Show At Most ___ posts

setting. If I am hitting the home page from anywhere else, it displays all of the posts on my site (not desired behavior). Given that this is a wordpress.com theme, I’m assuming that it would not be useful to contact that theme author directly about this?

    That should work.

I checked the setting for “Blog pages show at most” no your blog, and I see it is currently set to 8. I checked http://digifiend.com/ and I see there are 8 post showing on the home page. Are you still seeing a different number if you refresh the home page?

That is a bug. The preview window should match the front end, but it isn’t at the moment. I have already filed a bug report for that issue, so it should get fixed some time in the future, probably the next time the developers review the related feature. Sorry for the trouble!

Just following up here to note that the issue with the customize preview window showing the older navigation style instead of the new IS ‘Older Posts’ button was fixed a few months ago.
