Controlling Traffic?

  Hello.

  Is there a way to control traffic? My blog is fairly new, I’ve only given the link to close friends. I get 10 visitors in 2-3 minutes, it’s ridiculous! Where are they all coming from?

  That isn’t 10 visitors, that is 10 page views. If three people go to your blog, and each clicks on three links within your blog (to posts or pages) that would be 9 page views.

  So the “Blog Stats” Hit Counter/Widget counts pageviews and not visitors?

  Yes, it counts page views rather than unique visitors.
