Conundrum: Old WordPress blog to be taken down or made private.

    Hi,
    OK apologies firstly for hijacking the forums!

    My conundrum:
    A very old site of mine – https://thedefinitivedesignco.wordpress.com/
    I wish to edit and or make private – my priorities and business has changed somewhat – this is nearing 7+ years old.
    I cant remember how to login or even what the user and password is.
    The email account associated with this site is also likely ended/discontinued/expired.

    So , I tried to find somewhere to post this conundrum – this seems like the best place – I had to create an account just for this !

    Any ideas?
    I can 100% confirm that the site is/was mine by way of collection of work and also by Tax statements from the Revenue organisation here in the UK ( HMRC) stating The Definitive Design Co. was my trading name!

    Any help much appreciated!!!

    Hello

    As just a hunch, I do believe it might be possible to get access again, but some proof has to be there.
    Do you have access maybe to this e-mail address:
    (email visible only to moderators and staff)
    or was this the e-mail you used to confirm your WordPress website?

    I did add a “modlook” tag to this conversation, so an expert will write here shortly.

    Ah yes the domain based email, both domain and email addresses are ended/ finished.

    My old business literature and proposals etc still carry this so I hope this will also confirm that I am the owner of the WordPress blog , the proprietor of what was The Definitive Design Co, and that I have ceased trading.

    Im aware that for certain search terms that are more my new business target, my old stuff, especially designs, still show up, these I’d prefer to remove etc!
