Convert a blog post to a site post

I just created a new wordpress blog. There are two specific posts on my former wordpress blog that I would like to serve as site pages off of the primary menu bar for my new blog. When I ‘reblogged’ the content from the original blog to my new blog these publications are shown as blog posts and I cannot seem to figure out how to convert them to site pages. Any solutions besides retyping the blog content my hand?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • There is no native option to convert blog posts to site pages. This is because both are designed to serve different purposes, with each having different permalink structures.

When you use reblogging feature on WordPress.com, you can only reblog posts to blog posts. Reblogging does not give one the ability to publish content as a site page either. You can read more about it here.

Your best shot at moving content from your existing blog post to a new site page, is to copy-paste content from the blog post’s editor to the site page’s editor. You can choose to delete the blog post later.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have questions.
