convert current blog to new blog

  I have a video blog and want to change the theme. I want to let go of the current domain name, and replace with a http://www.______.wordpress.com domain. I also would like to transfer the credits and space I purchased. Is it possible to do this, or do I need to start over from scratch? Thank you community.

  (1) Let’s start with this. None of the blogs that are free hosted by wordpress.com have “www” in their URLs.

  (2) The blog linked to your name is not a wordpress.com blog. I don’t know whether or not it is a wordpress.org self hosted install or if it’s running on different software. If it is a wordpress.org software install then you can move the contents into a wordpress.com blog.   (3) If the blog linked to your username is not running on wordpress.org software then export from other platforms and import into a wordpress.com blog is possible. The instructions are found in the support documentation here http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

  I also would like to transfer the credits and space I purchased.

  (4) I’m totally confused about the credits and space upgrade bit. If you have purchased a space upgrade for the blog linked to your username from whom did you purchase it please? Do you already have a wordpress.com blog that you intend to use for this proposed transfer? Please clarify.

  Thank you for your response. All of my blogs are wordpress.com In the interim, since leaving the first post, I started another blog with my original intention. My plan is to delete the other blog (already up – video) – and transfer the space upgrade to the newly created blog.
