Convert from Blog post to portfolio style without losing the comments/likes

  Hello,
  I have the Illustratr theme. I usually write on the blog format which shows all my posts one below the other . I want to convert them to the portfolio format without losing the likes and comments. Is there a way to convert or do I have to post them again as portfolio format?

  Hi there,

  There is currently no automated way to change a post into a portfolio item.
  You can manually copy/paste the content of each post to the portfolio item.
  However, your comments and likes would not appear on your newly created portfolio item.

  You also may be able to find a plugin that would change the format for you if you are on a WordPress.com Business plan.
