Convert iframe embed video
-
I understand iframes are not supported with WordPress.com but I was wondering if there is a workaround to convert the embed code below to work in my blog. I’ve looked at the gigya shotcodes but I can’t seem to get it to work. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

@timethief – Thanks for the response. I’m looking for video embedding, not so much for audio at this point. The lack of this embedding functionality may convince me to migrate to another platform.

Sorry but the answer is going to be the same one. WordPress.COM Staff does not provide workarounds. It was another blogger who provided the gigya workaround in his blog. Also know that workarounds tend to come undone and there i no Staff support for them. The bad news is that the gigya code was previously used as a workaround but now others are reporting it no longer works for them. The sources of video embeds that WordPress.com supports for all of our blogs – no upgrade required – are found here.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/Video shortcodes are here http://en.support.wordpress.com/shortcodes/#video
The VideoPress upgrade allows you to upload videos from your computer for hosting and playback directly within your blog (or on another site you can designate). http://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/ However, if you upload them to youtube or another supported video source site then you do not need the upgrade.
