convert page to post

Hello,
This is my problem/dilemma
When I started my site in September I didn’t really know what I was doing. Consequently I’ve created a lot of pages on my site. I originally intended things to be quite static. My posts were “how to guides” on a particular subject. I knew who would be linking to it and I knew where I would be advertising it. I’ve built up a good number of links to the site.
Recently I’ve become more interested in keeping an actual blog, and I could do with tidying things up and having more dynamically created pages.
My site is about producing a fringe show in Edinburgh and this year when I do my show this year I’d like to keep my own blog. That is going to be different from the content of the site now which is articles on how to produce a show and interviews with comics and critics.
I could do with reorganising things into categories and make better use of tags.
This is my question
Is it possible to convert pages to posts and keep the URL of the piece?
