convert pages to posts

  I was confused by pages and posts.
  I have organised my posts into categories, I want to convert the pages to posts so I can categorise them and they will appear as I want them to

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello!

  From what I understand, you created pages instead of posts and now you need to convert the pages to posts, so that you can organize them by categories.

  If that’s right, there are 2 ways, depending on what type of WordPress.com account you have:

  1. If you have a Business account with WordPress.com, you can install a plugin like “Post Type Switcher” that you can simply find by going to the left WordPress.com panel tab called “Plugins” (you can find this after you log into your site’s panel) and then click the “Add” button next to the “Plugins” writing where you would search for “Post Type Switcher” and install the plugin. After that, you can simply go to each of the pages and you will see a new field where you can change your Page/Post type (check the screenshot here: https://ps.w.org/post-type-switcher/assets/banner-772×250.jpg?rev=1537020)

  2. If you don’t have a Business WordPress.com account, you can manually convert your pages into posts by simply copying the title and content from each page into a new post.
