Convert PDF file to new Post

  I have a how to handout I made three years or so ago – it is a PDF file and I have a Post with a link to the PDF file for a download. I still have the pictures for the handout. Is there a downside or would converting the PDF file to a new Post be OK? The old Post (just a couple of lines of text and a link) would stay so the link would not be broken. I then would have the problem of not duplicating the Title of the Post.

  Or would I be better to update the older Post / Link to add the How to instructions so visitors won’t need to click on the link.

  Go ahead and make the new post. Use the same title with “UPDATED” added to it.

  I’d also edit the old post and link to the new one and vice versa. For whatever reason, readers like it.

  I already do some linking inside my site to related Posts / Articles to make it easier for visitors to find the information that will help them without requiring an Easter Egg hunt for more information.
