convert post types in bulk

  Since we don´t have access to the database -I believe- how can we convert thousands of posts to custom post types in bulk? The plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/convert-post-types/ has been not updated, and I don´t know if is secure.

  This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.

  So it’s not advisible to use that plugin!

  We are not able to offer developer level support for database changes. We are expert in WordPress site issues, but to modify the database requires specialized knowledge that we do not possess.

  However, it is possible to access your site database directly so if you are able (or have a dev who can help you) you can use these instructions to access it.
