Convert public blog into private

  I have recently created a fully functional mirror of my blog for testing purposes. I have still followers on the mirror similar as on the original.

  I would like to convert the mirror blog into a private blog.
  But under “privacy” I have only option 1 (index) and 2 (no index). The option 3 is missing.
  Why ?

  Can I convert the mirror blog into private, in order to avoid sending mails from the mirror for each new post ?
  Or must I create only private posts ?
