can I upload and code I write
We have code restrictions at wordpress.COM. No javscript widgets or iframes or third party advertising codes can be used on any wordpress.COM hosted sites.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#html-tags
https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#javascriptWordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
This guide will explain how to move your WordPress.com site to another hosting platform: Moving to a Self-Hosted WordPress Site
https://move.wordpress.com -
There is no secure payments system here at wordpress.COM and you cannot add a shopping cart to sites hosted by wordpress.COM. See: Moving to Self-Hosted WordPress
https://move.wordpress.com/E-commerce plugin options have been removed here at WordPress.COM. Secure payment systems are not available here at wordpress.COM. You need a wordpress.ORG install. Please read this https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/e-commerce-22?replies=17#post-2575955
Provided you are selling only what you yourself make or a service that you personally provide on a wordpress.COM site you have two options.
(1) PayPal – Know that the only instructions that will work for posting a PayPal donation button on a WordPress.com blog are found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
Note that the PayPal email link is not supported and PayPal customization options are not supported either https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/paypal-button-41?replies=12#post-2517229 This is not likely to be changed any time soon, if at all.(2) If you set up an eCommerce site somewhere else online you can create a custom menu http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ and include a custom link to that site in it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-custom-links
Some bloggers create a contact form https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/ on a page and after the people have made a PayPal donation they provide the link to a private page for downloading files. Maybe that will work for you.

There is information on how to set up domain mapping in our support documentation. http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-a-domain/
WordPress.com provides free blogs and hosts them free of charge. There are no bandwidth charges. All WordPress.com blogs come with 3000 megabytes (~3 GBs) of space for storing uploaded files and images. Free features are listed here https://en.wordpress.com/features/
There are no monthly payment plans for upgrades. All billing is annual. We must pay for all upgrades in full for a 1 year subscription at the time of purchase.
We have different plans: free, personal, premium and business. All hosting is free regardless of which plan you choose. You can view all wp plan features here https://wordpress.com/pricing/
In order to remove the .wordpress.com URL and replace that with a domain URL you have to add a plan Add a plan for your site here: http://store.wordpress.com/plans/ and purchase an upgrade. See https://wordpress.com/pricing/
Make sure you read the comparison very closely do you know exactly what the restrictions and limitations on WordPress.COM blogging are: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping) https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
Important Notes Before Upgrading http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#important-notes-before-upgradingWordPress.com does not provide an email service for blogs on their sub domains or on custom domains. Please see these support docs
https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/What domain mapping does is providing a seamless redirect to the very same content under the new domain URL when a person clicks the old URL to the original content. It can take up to 72 hours for domain propagation to take place throughout the internet but it doesn’t usually take that long.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and purchase upgrades at > Dashboard> Store > My Upgrades
https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/Your billing history will be at Dashboard > Store > Billing History
https://en.support.wordpress.com/billing-history/Your only options for payment are found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/payment/
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

sjnpromotions.com already exists so if I map it and propagate it does the person see the old content that was there what exactly happens or can I not map it and still have sjnpromotions under wordpress without wordpress in the address

I visited your wordpress.com site. Let us deal with all of your issues, please.
1. On that site you state you want to sell products and upload code you write. There is no secure payments system here at wordpress.COM and you cannot add a shopping cart to sites hosted by wordpress.COM.
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/convert-site-from-free?replies=12#post-27796842. You state here that you want to upload and code I write . Please read https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/convert-site-from-free?replies=12#post-2779682
3. There is no means of removing wordpress from the site URL except by purchasing and annually renewable upgrade and domain mapping.
