Convert SQL to XML for new WordPress.Com blog

  Hello, I used to have a WordPress blog at my own site, but it is no longer around. I do, however have a backup of the .sql file with all of the posts and information, and would like to get it converted into an .xml file so that I may import that .xml file into my WordPress.com blog. What would be the best way to accomplish this?

  Hi. Have you tried asking at the WordPress.org forums?
  http://wordpress.org/support/

  Once you have your .xml file, you can import it like this:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-from-wordpress-org
