Convert xml file to text?

  Hi

  I’ve downloaded my blog content in xml format, but I need to convert it to text file so that I can upload it to another blog.

  Does anyone have any idea how can I do that, as I’ve tryed a few things, but no succes at all.

  If you are referring to another WordPress.COM blog or to a WordPress.ORG install then there is no conversion required. You simply import the XML file and that’s it.

  No, It’s not a WordPress blog. It’s another website that requires a text file in order to import.

  I’d suggest using Google search. I used it just now and found several third-party XML converters.

  The XML file is a plain text file – it is just formatted in a specific way – you can open the file in Notepad, Word, Open Office etc.
