Converting 600 Dynamic pages to Easily Editable pages in WordPress? Possible?

    Hi all,
It would really be great if you might be able to help me direct my web developers to a solution. I will try to be brief. (and thanks for any help you can offer)

I am having a Self Hosted wordpress site built now from the ground up. (I am new to WP btw)

    1) I paid them a bonus to add 600 location (city) pages for SEO purposes and were told to clone all of the page data (just text) and add the specific City name in all applicable places on the pages. (so the ‘/Chicago’ url would have Chicago in various places all through the data.)

    2) Apparently they did this ‘dynamically’ and I cannot easily edit this data. (WordPress shows me a blank page when trying to edit) – My plan was to go back to these pages and make them all unique to the city & keep most of the ‘Cloned’ page data as core text. (I hope this makes sense)

-When I pressed the developers that I needed this text easily editable (as I assumed it would be), that are confused how to do it. (other than doing it manually)

Would anyone possibly have any ideas for my issue? I assume that I am asking for them to convert a bunch of dynamic pages (600) to WordPress Static pages. Lesson learned I suppose…always be ULTRA clear when paying someone to do something. (I just assumed I would be able to edit the pages…)

    Thanks again.

    Means:

The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

This site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/

The forum at WordPress.ORG is not connected to WordPress.COM so you will need to open an account at .ORG if you do not already have one. You may use the same email at WordPress.ORG as you do at WordPress.COM.

For more on the difference: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you are asking for help with a WordPress.COM site then we need a link to that site to give you accurate help.
