Converting a Page to a Post in WordPress.com

  I have created about 4 new pages in my wordpress.com blog and realized That I should have created them as posts. How do I convert a page to post in an easy fashion without having to recreating it. Thanks for your support. Cathy Hawkins

  Hi Cathy,

  There’s not a way to do this automatically built into WordPress, but you can pretty easily copy and paste the pages you created into blog posts instead. The best way to do this and preserve your formatting would be to switch to the HTML editor tab on the page you created (it’s at the upper right corner of the box where you entered your content) and copy that code directly to a new blog post, also switching to the HTML editor there. You’ll have to move over your page/blog title too as a second step, then remember to delete the pages you no longer need. Hope that helps – let me know if you have additional questions!
