Converting from free to own domain

  I have a domain (created in Dreamweaver) hosted elsewhere. I have built a new website on WordPress.com in a free sub domain. I want to upgrade to Personal and move my sub domain website onto my existing domain. How do I do this please?

  You will need the Domain Mapping upgrade to do that. Domain Mapping is included in all WordPress.com paid plans:
