Converting From WordPress.com To WordPress.org

  I’ve decided to move to WordPress.org so I can have more flexibility and advertise. I have already paid for a host (Bluehost) but I have NO clue how to proceed. I have researched like crazy and I don’t even know where to start. The back-room of the web is super confusing for me and I feel like I am reading a foreign language – all FTP sites, domains, SQL databases and whatnot.

  Can anyone point me toward a great resource or just in the general direction of some help?

  Your best resource is http://wordpress.org/support

  After you export your content from your worpress.com blog (information’s in the support area) you’ll import it into your new blog and the other board will be where you get help.
