Converting HTML to WP theme?

  I have a lovely HTML layout I want to use as a WP theme, how can I do this? I am familiar with PHP includes.

  That’s probably best discussed over at http://wordpress.org as that’s the site for support of the software. These forums are for the support of the blogs hosted here at wp.com and we’re running a different platform anyway.
