converting posts to pages

  converting posts to pages
  3 months in and I’m still floundering. good news is I haven’t drowned yet! I’ve just discovered there are both pages and posts and they are different (why did no-one ever tell me that – don’t answer – it’s a rhetorical question!) I THINK pages are more suited to my purpose so I’d like to change my existing posts to pages. How do i do this?

  Well, if you care about your search engine ranking, turning Posts to Pages is quite self-destructive. Search engines don’t rank pages very highly.

  The way to change a Post to a Page is to copy and paste the content, add in the title, and then delete the old Post. There is no automated way to do this. A Page-heavy website also makes it difficult to navigate.
