Converting Website to Different Theme

  I am trying to convert this website to the Academic template but it just gave me an error message? I have tried uploading it through the themes page as well, but it does not upload. What am I doing wrong?

  Is this the theme you are trying to switch to? https://wordpress.com/themes/kerendali.wordpress.com?s=academic

  Please be aware that some themes require an upgrade to our Business Plan (including the theme I linked above) and it is not possible to upload on a free site such as the one you have now.
