converting wordpress. to godaddy

  i purchased a basic domain name of godaddy with a intention to own my website by converting ‘yourposture.wordpress.com’ to ‘yourposture.com’. As the name yourposture was not available i changed that name postureinfo.com, i got the domain name as http://www.postureinfo.com but i couldn’t get the data from previous website to the new website.
  To be honest i am little less in computer technicalities, kindly help

  Hi,

  You can “map” your new domain to your current WordPress.com site. This will keep all your posts and media as it is, but on the new domain.

  Mapping a domain costs $13/year.

  If you’d rather set up your own WordPress.ORG site with your web host of choice, you can find the instructions here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-to-a-self-hosted-wordpress-site/

  A WordPress.org site will give your more flexibility and control, but it’s also technically more complicated and the hosting will cost you more than a free WordPress.com site.
