Cookie Consent banner appearing on each page despite being accepted

    I have just added the Cookie Consent block to the footer of my site, and now need help with two issues please: 1) The banner appears some two thirds of the way down the screen and is hard to read as it crosses an image on the home page: I cannot see any way of controlling this. It is particularly bad on a phone. 2) Clicking “Accept” removes the banner, but it comes up again on every page you visit. The expiry days setting was 365; I initially changed this to 1 to see if it worked at all, then back to 365 when I discovered this issue, but it still displays on each page. It’s as though Accept has had no effect. I am using the Twenty Twenty-One theme.

    Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I have now installed the CookieYes plugin, which seems to be doing the job remarkably well.
