Cookie delete wasted Page

  • Unknown's avatar

On another site, deletion of cookies fixed several other problems.

Unfortunately, it took the WordPress cookies with it and as such NOW I have now ownership capabilities to my WP pages.

If you think THATS funny, just try it yerself.

Now I have a perfectly good WP page with absolutely NO access to it whatsoever.

I can see it, I can read it. But I no longer have access to add, edit, build or whatever to it.

Somewhat of an immediate answer would be profoundly interesting.

    Cheers :)

Hi! Don’t worry, if you’ve forgotten your login password, and resetting your cookies has logged you out, you can always reset it by following this guide –

Its not a password issue (gee whiz) itsa cookie login issue which restricts access.

Re-read the previous post – I reset the password – still no dice.

    Next fumbler……………

I wonder if you’ve considered that, since the forums are staffed by volunteers who can pick and choose what questions to answer, if any, your manner might encourage those with the solution NOT to give it to you. Consider this now.

Good point @RC – guess I will visit friend and not worry about folks with access issues

I must apologize raincoaster as a simple uneducated user I was not aware the support was being provided by volunteers.

Though I shouldn’t be surprised, I must further apologize as this was not meant to slam the support personnel.

I simply have a serious understanding and knowledge of multiple systems and programs, and as such have come to the crossroads of script-reading-support.

This is in no way a defamation of the fine work done by the WP volunteers.

    I humbly apologize.
