Cookie deletion blew me out

Ok this is attempt to post number three – after all, I didn’t write the software.
On another site I was asked to delete cookies to fix other problems not related to this one.
Unfortunately, NOW I have no access to my WP pages.
I can no longer edit, change, or customize (or upgrade if I so desired).
I can see the pages, read the pages, scroll the pages, and do everything BUT add, edit, change or access the pages as a normal owner/user.
Ok, define “normal” :)
Anyhoo, I have relogged, reset my password which was evidently blown out by the cookie deletion, thank you very much, and I still cannot access my own pages.

I am only now grateful that the cookie deletion did not take out the entirety of the WP pages – GAWD forbid.
So, how do we fix this?

OK, so first things first: don’t panic! Deleting cookies cannot affect your WordPress.com blog’s access settings in any way. Cookies are bits of information that websites store on your computer. Usually these help them identify you as ‘logged in’ so you don’t have to keep retyping a username and password every time you want to access one of their pages.
Deleting cookies means that you now have to re-login to sites like WordPress.com.
If you did reset your password and log back in, there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to access your blogs.
Thus, my question:
Are you sure you reset the password for the right WordPress.com account? Sometimes, if you have many, the one you have associated with your primary email address can be different to the one you use for this particular blog.
If not, a staff member will likely be able to tell you more. :)
As I said though, not to worry: your WordPress.com account cannot be affected by you clearing your browser cookies.

It seems the time delay in re-establishing cookie setup and equalization has finally accomplished its little task.
I have been reestablished as owner (of the only WP page I own as I do not need to flood the planet with multiple pages) and I also now have reinstated access to the original account.
I must apologize to the entirety of the WP community as such panic is unfounded and yet still realized.
I suppose the lesson here is if you delete it, yer gonna pay for it …. one way or the other.
