Cookies & Consent Banner won't dismiss

  I’ve added a widget to my website for the “Cookies & Consents Banner”. The trouble is it won’t go away even when clicked. I set the settings to default on the wording and then chose “after the user clicks the dismiss button” to hide it. They will click it and it will immediately pop back up. It happens to me as well. Any advice?! Users have said it makes commenting very difficult :(

  This is a known issue that is affecting many sites and we have reported the issue internally. I will definitely keep you updated on any progress that is made to correct the problem with closing the cookie banner.

  Thanks so much!! I’ve tried moving the widget around and that helped for a few days but it’s doing it again :(
