Hi there. Your blog is a subdomain of WordPress.com. As such, your blog itself does not load any cookies, the WordPress.com website does and by using the site visitors agree to the WordPress.com policies in this regard, so I wouldn’t imagine you’d have any legal liability as far as this is concerned. You are in no way an active party in saving cookies on people’s computers and can’t prevent it even if you wanted to.
If you do want to point your visitors to relevant documentation regarding cookies on WordPress.com, here is the support doc on third-party cookies: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
The Automattic Privacy Policy: http://automattic.com/privacy/
And the WordPress.com Terms of Service: http://en.wordpress.com/tos/ -
Thanks for your quick response, but I am afraid that the “idiot” Spanish law does is not enough.
I know it is impossible to fully comply with this law, but I would like to comply as much as possible to avoid problems.
Therefore I would like to inform readers with all possible data.
Is it possible to know more specifics about the cookies that are installed on the computers of the readers as the name and purpose of these by WordPress.com?
Thank you. -
I’ll tag this for staff. They should be able to give you this information. Please be patient while waiting for their response.

Hi there!
This is interesting! I’m not very familiar with the law, so I have brought this back to our team for review.
I will get back to you as soon as I hear back.
Thank you!

Hi there,
So I heard back from our team, and it was made known that we at WordPress.com are the service provider, not the user, and we also comply with U.S. law, not Spanish law.
However, each user like yourself should comply with your local law. So if you would like to give a warning about cookies, you are more than welcome to use a Text Widget or publish a page to do so.
The document that @kokkieh provided you above should be helpful:
You may also self-disclose the information you have access to through stats and when a user leaves a comment.

You’re welcome to use my privacy policy as a template in this regard. It more or less covers what @gracejiyoung said above.

Ok … I know well that wordpress.com does not have to comply with Spanish law, but I expected to know what cookies are used by wordpress.
I am not a web programmer or informatic, I know as I can see in my browser cookies are installed, but I ignore the purpose of these cookies. I expected to have an official response from wordpress, simple answer about these cookies.
Thanks for your answers and time.
PS: case you are interested, the Spanish law, European too, says that the user of a web service should be able to accept or refuse the use of cookies, always before they are installed. It is not enough only report the use of these cookies.
