  I need a cookies plugin for worpress.com. Do you have anyone available? Thanks for your help!

  We do not allow users to install third-party plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons.

  What kind of functionality are you looking for?

  The data protection law has changed last Agoust and we must include in our blog, a cookies policy. That means, we must include a pop-up in the home page with a link that goes to another page with all the policy detailed. I have search through Internet and I realize there are some plugins available to do this for wordpress.org users, but we are a wordpress.com user and we would like to know how can we insert this informations in the blog.

  Since sites hosted at WordPress.com do make use of cookies, you may like to flag this fact for visitors to your site. One way to do this is to add a text widget to your side bar and include a link to our privacy policy (which contains information on the cookies that we use). You might also inform your visitors that they can refuse all cookies by changing the settings of their browsers.

  Thanks for your help! I did it and I have already added the Cookies Policy at the bottom part of the blog. What I think with this blog we can not add is the pop-up bar at the top of the page, but maybe it is enough with this.

  You cannot add a pop-up, but adding the relevant privacy information should be sufficient at this time. If we learn that WordPress.com is not in compliance with these laws, we will implement required changes as necessary.
