Cool look. How to design a blog like this???

  Hi,

  I like this blog’s design, not necessarily its content: http://www.sad-blog.com/

  What do I need to learn to make my blog, http://www.brooklynmodern.com, look like this super-minimalistic blog? HTML and CSS? Will I need to host the blog somewhere besides wordpress to get this look? I know this is such a newbie question, but are there pro’s who do this for a living?

  I should say you can attempt to do it with CSS, and there is no official CSS forum

  All that looks like is Sandbox with about a 20 line CSS file.

  thanks for the help. After it is done in css, would I have to host the design at some company like godaddy?

  You would need the paid CSS upgrade and some experience writing CSS and as aw1923 says, there is no official support for it.

  wow, you guys are fast!
  yeah, no header on that site I like. It’s a real artsy, european look, I think.
  glad I don’t have to deal with godaddy. Their advertising appeals to the lowest common denominator.

  Sandbox + plaintxt + a litte css would do that.
