Coordinate mapped file download

I have a wordpress website and I am looking to achieve something very specific. I tried google but did not find anything that is coming even close to what I want. So I will try to explain it here. I want to embed google maps (which I have done) and I also want to have around 10 to 15 files for download. I want to link these files to coordinates in the google map, so when you go to specific location in google maps (IN MY WEBPAGE only) you can see maybe an icon to click and download a file. Coordinate mapped file download – is that at all achievable?

That’s not possible on WordPress.com. There are plugins that allow you to do this, but those can only be used on self-hosted sites using the WordPress.org software.
That said, I’m not sure a plugin like that will work with an embedded Google map, as a Google map is dynamic content. Targeting specific co-ordinates on an image usually require a static image instead.
You can try the self-hosted forums. The users there might have a better idea if something like this is possible, and which plugin you’ll need to do it.
