What’s happened to the Copy a Post feature? It was the most useful feature and now it seems to have disappeared? Or is it hidden somewhere that you can help me find?

There are missing features in the new editor. The good news is that they still exist in the classic editor.
The Admin login link for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:

You cannot deactivate the new Beep Beep Boop editor but you do not have to use it. To create posts in the classic editor On the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New for you that link is below.
