copy a site

  I want to create a second site exactly the same as the first but in another language. Is there a way to copy the entire site and create a new one that I can then translate? Then I can interlink them and they will look like one bilingual site! :)
  I want to copy: artourprescottrussell.wordpress.com, to make second one called: artourprescottrussellfr.wordpress.com
  Is that something I can do or that someone can do for me?

  Hi there!

  You can export and then import your site’s content to a separate WordPress.com site, so that your content’s there and ready for you to translate into French.

  The first step would be for you to create artourprescottrussellfr.wordpress.com here:

  https://signup.wordpress.com/start/?step=step-home

  Next, you can activate the Sketch theme on your new site and copy over the content into your sidebar widget.

  Finally, you can head to Tools > Export in your English site’s WP Admin to create a file containing its posts, pages, comments, categories, and tags:

  https://artourprescottrussell.wordpress.com/wp-admin/export.php?type=export

  Finally, you can then go to your French site’s WP Admin and import the file via Tools > Import.

  Will it also export the media and portfolio pages?
