copy and paste a whole blog
-
Is it possible to “copy and paste” a whole blog into another new blog? I am talking about taking the whole thing—photos, posts, etc. and duplicating/transferring it into another blog with another name.

Can I export it to another blog that I started as new? Or do you mean export it and import it to the new blog?

In your Old Blog’s Dashboard, click on the Manage Tab, then “Export”. Save the XML file to your computer.
In your New Blog’s Dashboard, click on the Manage Tab, then “Import”. Find the XML file in your computer and upload it… all of your pages, photos and posts from your Old Blog will now be a part of your New Blog. Except the blogroll.
(This is the third time I’ve posted this response, the first two times I pushed “Send Post” and it took me to the “sign up for new blog” page and asked if I was serious about wanting to start a new blog called en.wordpress… there are weird things happening.)

Thanks for your reply. The other question I have is that when I export in order to import into this blog, will it erase the pages, photos, posts, etc. from the other blog? I don’t want to erase it from the other blog, I just want to duplicate it for portfolio reasons.
And perhaps the “weird things happening” are happening due to this blog not having anything active on it yet.
