Hello there,
Hope all is well with you!
Thank you for your question about pasting your MS Word document into your WordPress site.
I understand that when you do this, it removes all formatting such as the font colours.
This tends to occur. If you do need to paste content from Microsoft Word, you can do so by selecting your content in your MS Word document and paste it directly into the Editor in WordPress.com.
However, not all formatting will carry over cleanly, so you may need to tweak some settings. This is because MS Word has a different formatting structure and not all formatting created in a word processor will be reproduced when pasting into WordPress.com Editor.
It is strongly recommended that all WordPress.com Users use the WordPress.com Editor to create and edit content.
I suggest using the WordPress.com Classic Editor.
Here is the link below for other ways you can try in formatting your content from MS Word:

I do have two suggestions that you can try as well:
1. I suggest using Google Docs, as you can embed Google Docs on your site. In this way the document itself will be displayed on your Post or Page.
Here is the link on Google Docs for your reference:

2. You can also embed your MS Word Document from your MS OneDrive account and display the content on your Post or Page.
The link below will guide you on how to set this up on your site:

Please do let us know if you have any additional questions, we are more than happy to help!
Stay safe.
