Copy and Paste problems.

  hello,
  i have a this issue with copy pasting text in word press only, when i use copy to copy text and paste it in other block or other field, i get this error:
  C:UserstempAppDataLocalTempPRODUCT_NAME_UNKNOWN_CrashDumpPRODUCT_VERSION_MAJOR_UNKNOWN-PRODUCT_VERSION_MINOR_UNKNOWN-2019-06-21–19-45-59_.dmp
  I have done all the necessary cleaning like cookies, browsing data, enabled java script, and even disabled plugins on chrome .
  but still getting the same error please help.
  this error doesn’t happen outside the wordpress.

  Hi @shashankdatta, that’s odd. Can you confirm which app you’re using (like WordPress for Windows Desktop) and its version?

  Also, we have some tips here about pasting from Word:

  Microsoft Word

  While you shouldn’t be getting an error, could you check to see whether any of those help, too?

  HEY!
  thanks for the reply,
  I use WordPress for windows , and it’s the latest out there cuz I have downloaded it today.its not only happening in the application but also on the web based WordPress as well.
  I tried everything and I realized it must be from the WordPress itself as it only happens when I try to copy and paste something into the blog, and normally when I copy and paste outside the wordpress it’s fine, but when I try to do the same in the word press the copied text changes to this

  C:UserstempAppDataLocalTempPRODUCT_NAME_UNKNOWN_CrashDumpPRODUCT_VERSION_MAJOR_UNKNOWN-PRODUCT_VERSION_MINOR_UNKNOWN-2019-06-21–19-45-59_.dmp

  If I am only the one to get this issue I guess my last choice should be Reinstalling chrome on my PC!!!

  Yeah that is super odd.

  First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/

  If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

  If it is, please do these two things:

  1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

  2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

  Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.
