copy /back up posts

I would like to back up all of my post on to a personal flash drive. Do I need to do this one by one (there are over 600) or is there an easier more efficient way? Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

You don’t have to do them one by one. Posts can be exported in bulk to a series of xml files.

Full instructions can be found in the documentation below:

    Export Your Website’s Content

The xml files can then be imported into any WordPress site.

Thanks so much for your response. I tried that, but it wouldn’t download to a simple flashdrive, which is what I want to do , not to another WordPress site. Any suggestions?

Once you’ve exported posts and clicked the download button, it should download a zip file to your pc.

If that doesn’t happen for you, do you receive any error messages?

Once it’s on your pc or laptop, it should be possible to transfer it to a flash drive.

If you’re unable to add the zip file to your flash drive, please try checking if you can transfer over any other zip file to it.
