  I am looking to copy my current blog into apinktowel.com and keep my dearmomblog.com the same as it is. I am not sure how to do this? Can you help or can I pay to have it done. So I want the exact same blog on both URL’s I own. How do I do it? Thanks in advance, John

  Hi John,

  So with your current setup, you own both those domains. If I visit apinktowel.com I’ll simply get redirected to dearmomblog.com.

  It sounds like what you want to do is have the two domains completely separate… they’ll just happen to have the same content at this moment.

  To do this, you’ll need to take the following steps.

  1. Setup a new, free, WordPress.com blog on your same user account. Follow these steps.
  2. Follow these steps to copy your content from dearmomblog to your new site.
  3. Let me know when you’ve finished that and the new site looks how you want.
  4. I’ll transfer apinktowel.com to the new site.

  Alex,

  I have another issue. I have two purchased domains for the same blog. How can i move one of those to another blog. It says it mapped already and I can not figure out how to unmap it. I want to take apinktowel.com and map it to a new blog that I will import all my old posts in…..

  So I need apinktowel.com on a new free site…how can I do that since it is pointing towards dearmomblog.com

  Hi John,

  I’ll need to transfer apinktowel.com to the new blog for you, like I mentioned in step 4 previously.

  Setup the new site as you want apinktowel.com to appear, let me know its *.wordpress.com address, and I’ll transfer apinktowel.com to that site.

  I can do the transfer whenever you’d like, but I assume you’d like to have it setup first so that folks visiting apinktowel don’t see a work-in-progress of the site.

  I’ve transferred apinktowel.com to be associated with apinktowel.wordpress.com.

  It still is redirecting to dearmomblog.com but I assume the dns is not updated yet.

  Hiya John,

  Is this still happening for you? I just took a look at your site and the apinktowel.com domain seems to be working just fine. It’s pulling up an entirely different site from dearmomblog.com.

  Let me know if you’re still having issues!
