copy page to website

Please forgive if this has been addressed in the forum. What I’d like to do is to copy the content of a Page and post it on my website……reformated. It seems like it should be something simple…..what am i missing?

Exactly what do you mean? What kind of page do you want to copy from, and what do you mean by “reformated” – that you want to keep the formatting of the page or that you want the page without formatting so you can format it yourself?

Anyway, it *should* be simple, just copy the text and paste it in your new post, then you will have the possibility of editing and formatting the text as you please.

You can also use the “Advanced Toolbar” where you have the choices of pasting as “plain text” or “paste from Word”.

    Hope that helps,

I would use Notepad in between copying and pasting, unless I were copying from my own blog (and then I would do it from the Edit page, not the front end of the blog). Copy, paste to Notepad, copy from Notepad, then paste into the blog. I do this to strip out extraneous or unclosed tags, which can really muck up your blog.
