Copy & Paste from Microsoft Word

  I understand that there is a new implementation that strips all sorts of formatting from Microsoft Word. Is there an option to retain the formatting? Please allow this option because I would love all the formatting in Word to be retained when I paste it to WordPress. Otherwise this blog site is getting worse and worse in terms of editing as I feared because throughout the years all sorts of ‘new features’ never really did me any good and felt worse off than before.

  This change is a test version of what will be rolled out to pay-up members so we will have to wait and see what their reaction is.

  Rarely have I seen so-called software improvements so damage a product. If Microsoft screw up then they fix it immediately. Improvement is usually about progress not taking us back ten years or so.

  I hope WP listen to what people are saying here but I fear that they will be too stubborn to stand down.

  Anyway, we get a free product so that probably reduces our right to complain too loudly.

  I really hope that they take into account the serious views and feedback expressed in this thread.
