Copy / Paste From Word, font issues

I am a really simple guy and do very simple blogging-no bells or whistles just text. How can I simply copy / paste from Word to WordPress? I write offline, so I can upload in a hurry. But the fonts and layout do not display the way they were created in Word. Different font styles, random size changes, spacing issues. Is there a standard format I need to use to be able to copy / paste?

Microsoft Word is a word processing program that’s not compliant with web standards. I just answered a similar question. My best advice is ditch WORD. Use windowslivewriter or create your posts in the WordPress.com editor. You’re welcome. :)

I have used Word since I created my blog 8 years ago. I have had a few problems with appearance that I have been able to clean up easily but now it is inserting this at the top of ever post so I have to delete it. Just can’t figure out why it is suddenly doing this?
