Copy pictures to new wp site

  I can´t copy my pictures from my old wp to the new one, I have made. I have copied my pages and all that, but the pictures no. I can´t find any place, where it shows me how to do it.

  Hello there,

  There are two ways to move images.

  1. First, is the long route: manually. Downloading each media file from the old site and uploading it into your new Media Library.
  2. Second, is to export your pages and posts from your old site, and importing them into the new. Media files are only exported as file attachments, this means that you cannot download only pictures. You would have to download all your posts/pages that contain the imagery. Once you upload the into your new site, you can use those images as you’d like. You can also delete any pages/posts that you do no want to appear on the new site.
