  I want to protect my content from copying. what can I do?

  Howdy,

  There is not a way to prevent folks with malicious intent from copying your content, short of locking your site to only allow approved readers to view it or requiring a password for individual posts.

  For those who may copy content without realizing what they’re doing, adding in copyright information in a text widget in your sidebar can discourage many.

  If you have searched and found someone who has stolen your content, you can first ask them to remove it and, if they don’t, file what’s known as a DMCA notice against them with their web host which requires them to remove the content.
