  How can I add a copy right tag to the bottom of my page?

  WordPress.com is a multiuser blogging platform and that means you can not edit your theme footer to insert a copyright notice. But you can place a copyright notice in a text widget in your side bar or on pages or on posts. You can create an image for a creative commons license here http://creativecommons.org/license/ Or you can get a copyscape one here http://www.copyscape.com/ And this FAQs thread tells you how to put the image in your sidebar http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/10/18/put-an-image-in-your-sidebar/
  As you are new this will help with the set up and configuring of widgets. And this will introduce you to some basic wordpress resources.
