We require the complete clickable URL for the blog to which your refer starting with http:// every time you post to this forum. If your initial contact with the splogger does not result in him/her taking down your content then you make a detailed DMCA complaint to the web host.

I also use something called “myfreecopyright.com” that logs your material, and you can place a button and a creative commons license on your page, you should check it out. I don’t know how well it can hold up legally, but I assume the more protection the better.
If you’re really concerned you need to consult a legal source for obtaining legal ownership of all your publications. Yellow pages are great for that :)

You already HAVE legal ownership and copyright of all your materials, unless you sell it or give it away under contract.

There are several options for attempting to protect your digital works online. In fact no copyright notice or license is required at all. If your created an article it’s your intellectual property. The notices and licenses only deter some comment thieves as there exists a profound unawareness of copyright basics in the blogosphere and misinformation abounds there. If you have images of your own watermark them to deter theft and note that disabling rick click is easy to get around. If you are examining options then this post may be helpful http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2008/10/07/how-to-copyright-your-digital-works/

That may or may not be effective. Please understand that whatever you post on is still subject to theft.

I know how frustrating this is as I have gone through it. If your initial contact with the splogger does not result in him/her taking down your content then you make a detailed DMCA complaint to the web host. I gave you the correct links to the instructions for the steps you must now take in my first comment above.

Also note that by placing the URL to the stolen copy of your post above the result may be curiosity seekers clicking the link to test what you say. The result will be hits on the thief’s copy of your post. :(
