copying a blog

  Hi I wish to copy the contents of my blog and put them into another blog to play around with the layout and themes but keep the original active.

  Do i just export the blog, or does this remove the original blog?

  Export is the way – no content is deleted unless you delete something – export makes a file that has the text of your blog and links to the images used in posts and pages – remember to check the box “import media / images” somewhere to have the pictures also import into the test blog – also set the test blog to Private to keep search engines out – don’t want duplicate content
