Copying a post in WordPress
-
I used to be able to copy a post in WordPress so that I don’t have to go to the one before every day and copy the parts that I want. Is this still a feature in WordPress or have a switched something off by accident. It would also be useful to create a template post so that I can use standard tags and categories. Does anyone know how to do this as well?
Thanks
Sandra

I had a similar problem and posted about it but never received any responses.

Never used the “Copy Post” function – but switch your editor to html mode (top tab on the edit box) then copy all – that will bring all the formatting links and such when you paste into another Post when in the other Post’s html mode.
I have used the above method to copy a base template or copy a formatted Table into a new Posts.
