Copying a post & making it there own

someone has copied a post word for word that I wrote. Is that acceptable since I had signed it; surely thats not allowed????

No, it’s not acceptable: it’s content theft pure and simple. You can submit a DMCA notice. If the blog is on wordpress.com, WP will make them remove the post.

Thanks for the info. I have asked them politely if they would remove it so I’m hopeful they will. I’m obviously a bit new cos I was just shocked a personal entry that mentioned my Mother & one of my kids was nicked!!!

Well the entry has been removed & I’m not looking any further. Just leaves a bad taste but thanks for your help I really appreciate your help.
