copying media (photos) from blog back to hard drive

  I want to copy the uploaded images from my blog back onto my hard drive. I accidentally deleted the folders where I had organized my blog images by year and month. When I tried to “save image as” from the media library, it seemed to save the page as html rather than just the jpeg. Appreciate any help – I couldn’t find an answer to this specific question.

  Hi there,

  unfortunately, there is no way to download the media library in one file.

  There is a ongoing discussion whether to include this functionality in the future or not:

  Currently, you have to visit each post and click through to display the image full size.

  Thank you for the information. That functionality would be great – at least in my case – although not sure many people have a need for that. I’m a very basic user.
